The client had chosen to bring to market an off the shelf HR Monitor. The existing product had an existing app developed by the manufacturer, however, there was an opportunity to reskin the app. Below shows the original and updated version of the UI.
As the general flow and functionality was set by the developer, I was able to jump straight to high fidelity prototypes. I presented initial concepts for the UI and after approval built a working prototype for final approval of stakeholder and for meetings with engineering team.
Below are 3 examples of possible user flows using the app. While not limited to these, I was ask to show 1) What the user would see and do when entering for the first time and registering to use the app; 2) The steps to entering the personal data; and 3) The functionality of both Heart Rate and Exercise functions.
I was able to include Lottie animations, a JSON-based animation file format that enabled me to ship animations. These small files work on any device and can scale up or down without pixelation. While fairly simple, it easily conveys the story
