Role Designer

Objective

As part of my work with ShotBox, I developed an in-store promotional cardboard flat-pack unit designed to showcase multiple cameras and accessories. The challenge was to create a display that was visually appealing, functional, and easy for retailers to assemble. To enhance the customer experience, we incorporated a video screen into the design, providing dynamic content that demonstrated the cameras' features and benefits.

Design & Development

The unit was engineered to be lightweight yet durable, ensuring it could support the weight of multiple cameras and accessories without compromising stability. The video screen was seamlessly integrated, adding an interactive element to the display that captured customer attention. I focused on maximizing the visibility and accessibility of the products with strategically placed compartments and clear signage to guide customers.

Sustainability & Efficiency

Understanding the importance of sustainability, I selected materials that were eco-friendly while still being cost-effective. The flat pack design minimized shipping costs and reduced the carbon footprint associated with transportation.

Premium Option

In response to the brand’s desire to elevate its in-store presence, we began developing a premium metal stand as an alternative to the cardboard unit. This high-end option enhanced the brand's image further, offering a sleek, durable display that could be used in flagship stores and high-traffic locations.

Outcome

The final product was a visually striking, easy-to-assemble display unit that enhanced the in-store presence of the brand, driving customer engagement and boosting sales.
